Macdonald Chiropractic P.C. was first established in 1952 by Dr. Macdonald's father (who still practices part-time) and was the only chiropractic office serving the Cape and Islands for over 15 years.

We are located at 169 Gifford Street in Falmouth, only 1/4 mile from Main Street. 

We are a participating provider in numerous insurance programs including: Mass Health, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross, Tufts, Medicare, Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle.  Our insurance staff can check on the details of your coverage.

It is best to wear light, loose clothing without excessive jewelry.  Undressing is not necessary except when x-raying, when clothing that contains metal and other solids that may block the x-ray need to be removed and a loose fitting shirt and pants will be provided by us.  Waiting does not usually exceed 10 minutes beyond your scheduled time.

A first visit consisting of case history, examination and treatment may take approximately 45 minutes.

X-rays take 15 minutes and will usually be developed to be viewed on your next visit.

A follow-up routine office visit takes approximately 20 minutes.

A spinal decompression session takes about 30 minutes for a single region.

It is very common that a series of chiropractic treatments are necessary to have a significant impact on what is usually an old cause for what may seem to be only a recent problem.

Patients are always encouraged to call with questions and keep their other physicians informed of their progress.

If you have previous x-rays or MRI please inform us and bring them in for a review as soon as possible

Dr. Macdonald is always happy to speak to anyone who has questions before making a decision to try chiropractic and is always available to offer advice over the phone, even to those who are not patients in this office.
